National History Education Clearinghouse (NHEC)

The National History Education Clearinghouse (NHEC) advertises in HistoryNews, the magazine of the American Association for State and Local History.

History educators will find many wonderful resources designed to connect teachers with a variety of content resources, teaching materials, teaching strategies and the latest news about history education.

There is also information on best practices, history content, news, issues and research, professional development, Teaching American History Grants (TAHG) and more. The NHEC operates out of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
