The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History has just published its latest edition of History Now with Issue 23, March 2010: Turning Points in American Sports.
In this issue, History Now examines a topic near and dear the hearts of students: sports. As fans, athletes, or teachers, we know that sports provide us with valuable lessons in team work, self discipline, and the ability to accept both victory and defeat with good grace.
