World History Institute

The World History Institute will provide comprehensive professional development for the teaching of world history.  Topics include conceptualization, student learning skills, pedagogy, content, and identifying available resources. The Common Core State Standards will be addressed by linking Institute curriculum to designated historical thinking skills. The Institute gives special attention to research, with an emphasis on showing teachers how they can integrate new ideas into the classroom with hands-on activities.
