History Education Hawaii, Inc., Welcomes Jonathan Nosaka

History Education Hawaii, Inc., is pleased to announce that Jonathan Nosaka has been named as its treasurer.

Jonathan Nosaka is the founder and president of FELT, or Financial Education & Leadership Training, a 501c3 non-profit organization. He is also an investor in private practice in the areas of real estate and foreign currencies. 

Since 2008 Nosaka has been a lecturer at Kapiolani Community College, University of Hawaii. He teaches English as a Second Language; English for Specific Purposes (Business English, Medical English, Hawaiian Culture, et al); and financial literacy classes in adult education. His interest in history and history education is inspired by his father's service in World War II in the famous 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team

President and co-founder Jeffrey Bingham Mead said that, "Jonathan Nosaka has been a good friend, a gifted and talented colleague whose passion for teaching is contagious and inspirational. We are delighted to have him join our team." 

History Education Hawaii, Inc., is the officially recognized ‘Hawaii Council’ of the National Council for History Education. It is a technology-based independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit corporation serving the history learning community of the state of Hawaii that promotes leadership, study, research, effective, innovative history teaching and learning best practices.
 It collaborates with educational institutions, facilitates interactive, professional and interactive programs involving history-buffs, history educators and students, teacher-candidates, historians and historic preservationists, foundations, museums as well as the government, military and business communities of Hawaii.
